Many thanks to all who attended and supported The Arc of Lincoln Harvest Moon Annual Celebration held on October 19, 2023.

The event advocating for individuals with intellectual and development disabilities was a fun-filled success. The scrumptious  dinner by the Venue, the lively fundraising Live Auction by Ed Hall of Vandertook Auction Co. as well as the Silent Auctions , and the recognition program event took place at The Grand Manse in the Jasmine Room.

2023 Arc Advocate Awards were presented to the following individuals in recognition of their advocacy and service:

• Community Advocate Award: Kathy Wade, DD Service Coordination Supervisor - NE Department Health & Human Services

• Educator Advocate Award: Hope Clarke, Lux MS Special Education Teacher - Lincoln Public Schools

• Leadership Advocate Award: Dr. Amber Messersmith- Management Department Professor, UNL College of Business

• Self Advocate Award: Alan Carlson- Board Vice President, Arc of Lincoln
